While there is a really good opportunity to spend 7 nights on MSC Bellissima, the cruise company offers an even better price for a slightly shorter cruise a few weeks later (when the temperatures are getting better). You can get onboard in Naples for £293 (~€329) and spend 5 nights on the ship. If you’d like to have a window, the cabin would cost £371 (~€416) and you’d need to pay £459 (~€515) for your own balcony.

Getting to/from Your Port
Wherever you come from, we recommend allowing a day before your cruise. If you miss your embarkation time, you will lose your entire cruise.
The closest airport to Genoa is its own airport close to the port. However, it sees limited service, especially from low-cost carriers. Pisa Airport, Milan’s three airports and Florence’s airport are within a reasonable distance. They together see low-cost and network carriers from all around Europe. There is also Nice, which comes in handy if you want to visit the coastal city and Monaco after your cruise.
Naples has its own airport which serves a decent amount of destinations.
For our American readers, we recommend flying to Milan and taking a cheap domestic flight (or train) to Naples. While there is a TAP flight from Boston starting at €436 (~US$468), the direct Emirates flight from JFK (which includes a bag) may be more special at €486 (~US$521).
