International Business News Adds Billing and Invoicing to Online Business Solutions

invoicing has launched an electronic billing and electronic invoicing service.

The online business solutions provider said in a Friday (Feb. 17) press release that the service eliminates the need for traditional billing and invoicing methods’ paper-based transactions and manual processes.

“This new service is designed to help businesses manage their finances more efficiently and save time and resources,” CEO Fehintolu Oshikanlu said in the release. “With electronic billing and invoicing, businesses can reduce their paper usage, lower their costs and increase productivity.”

PYMNTS research has found that many companies see digitizing their accounting processes as a worthy investment and a stepping stone to automation.

Forty-three percent of chief financial officers (CFOs) said they were digitizing accounts receivable (AR) processes as a precursor to automation, and 70% said that digitizing AR functions is vital to building lifetime customer value, according to the “Working Capital Playbook,” a PYMNTS and YayPay collaboration.

The report also found that 61% of CFOs reported digitizing customer or vendor invoices, and 40% said digitization of accounting operations has resulted in fewer paper checks.

Most CFOs see undertaking digitization of their AR and accounts payable (AP) systems as an opportunity to transform their business.

They are also digitizing as many AR/AP functions as possible to boost the overall lifetime value of customers, according to “The Strategic Role of the CFO,” a PYMNTS and Versapay collaboration.

CFOs realize that it’s time to leave manual, paper-intensive AR/AP services behind and do business in the digital way preferred by the customer, Versapay CEO Craig O’Neill told PYMNTS in an interview posted in October 2021.

“If you can find a way to connect with your customer, make it easy and flexible for them and deploy technology that supports that, you can really get outsized results,” O’Neill said at the time.

With the new service from, businesses can use the platform to generate invoices and bills, track payments and manage accounts online. The platform can be customized to meet specific needs, according to the press release.

The service joins other’s other business solutions that include online marketing and eCommerce tools, the release said.
