Travelers from 70 countries can obtain visas upon arrival at the immigration counter when traveling to the UAE. The length of stay allowed on these visas varies depending on the country of origin and can be 30, 90, or 180 days.

Multi Entry UAE Tourist Visa 2023

As a component of the UAE’s updated visa program, a new multi-entry tourist visa has been launched, which is now available to all nationalities. The goal of this step is to simplify the process for tourists and visitors.

Dubai’s tourism agency is collaborating with authorities to broaden the use of the five-year multiple-entry tourist visa and attract more tourists. The visa is presently being softly launched, but plans are in place to increase its availability and make applications accessible via the Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing digital platform.

UAE Tourist Visa Validity

As part of the new regulations, the UAE has resumed the issuance of 60-day tourist visas, which means that all visit visas will now be valid for 60 days from their date of issuance. In addition, the multi-entry tourist visa allows visitors to enter the country multiple times and stay for up to 90 days per visit, with the possibility of extending their stay for another 90 days.

It is important to note that all holders of UAE visit visas must enter the country within the specified timeframe after their visas are issued. If they fail to do so by the expiry date, they will be required to either cancel their visit visa or extend the entry period.

Extension of UAE Tourist Visa

The Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) has introduced a new service that allows visitors to extend the validity of their visas for 60 days, for one time only. This can be done online through the ICP website or app, using UAE PASS, and the cost is AED 200.

It is important to note that there are additional fees, including AED 100 for smart services, AED 50 for the application form, and AED 50 for the Authority and electronic services provided to customers. The total cost, therefore, will be AED 400, which is still less expensive than the AED 600 fee that visitors already in Dubai must pay to renew their visa on arrival for an additional 30 days.

UAE Tourist Visa Grace Period

According to the most recent announcement, individuals who have overstayed their visas will be required to obtain a Dubai/UAE out pass in addition to paying the overstay fine. The out pass is a permit that allows the holder to leave the UAE and can cost up to AED 300.

Overstayers must also pay the full amount of the overstay fines, which are calculated at AED 50 per day of overstaying. Visitors on a UAE visit visa will have a grace period of 10 days after the visa expiry date, after which the overstay fines will begin to accumulate.

A valid passport: Your passport should have at least six months’ validity at the time of travel.
A copy of your flight ticket: You need to provide a copy of your flight ticket from your preferred airline.
National ID for nationals of Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and Pakistan: If you’re a national of any of these countries, you need to provide a national ID along with the other documents.

According to a recent regulation, all international travellers visiting the UAE must either extend or cancel their unused visit visas. If they choose not to extend their visit visa, they must cancel it through the immigration portal. The immigration system will not automatically delete old visa requests and will only do so upon the applicant’s request.
